When she’s not watching 90s comfort movies or DIYing to the sounds of dream pop and 00s emo music, Shenae can be found at her local op shop prepping for her next project. Primarily a production designer and art department assistant, she is quick to jump on new opportunities and into new roles, creating some whacky designs along the way. With a coffee in her hand, she is always creating; a classic hobby-jumper, Shenae has skills in everything from sewing to linocutting and many things in between.
Holding a Bachelor of Film and Television (Honours) from Swinburne University of Technology, Shenae’s past work has been screened at festivals such as St Kilda film festival and Flickerfest. Having tried her hand at a range of departments from writing and directing to sound, she has always come back home to the art department. She has an interest in a variety of content, working on TVCs, photoshoots and music videos as well as short form and long form film and television.
On set, if you are in the mood for a debate, she’s known for talk at length about what makes Jess Mariano the best Gilmore Girls character— enter at your own risk.
