Juliette is a production designer, set designer, art director (and sometimes costume designer). Multi-faceted, multi skilled like a true Gemini at heart that can’t be at peace unless she’s doing it all. Works across all mediums that exist on the planet, a true testament to a big ‘yes’ attitude. She conceptualises texts, delves into imaginary worlds in collaboration with artists, designers and directors whilst bringing to life concepts and sketches through the use of three dimensional modelling, sketches and architectural renderings.
She has completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production) majoring in Design Realisation at The Victorian College of the Arts where she was awarded the Cassidy Bequest Scholarship. She has been fortunate enough to work in collaboration with Melbourne Theatre Company, The Malthouse Theatre, Edinburgh & Adelaide Fringe Festivals. As well as, the production designer for upcoming feature film SLANT, Props Buyer on Season 2 of The Newsreader, Props Master on Season 2 of Netflix show Surviving Summer and lead set decorator on Aria nominated music video, Won’t Sleep by Tones & I.
A designer known for her atmospheric sets, she has worked across a broad spectrum of repertoire from theatrical plays, live performance, feature films, television commercials, music videos and festivals. She brings a curiosity and poetry to her work amongst being a stickler for detail and an eye for picking up on things that others usually don’t see, enriching her practice as a visual story teller. Naturally dynamic and curious about the world; her best work is encouraged with a dedicated team and an epic vision.
